It is no good being an excellent company unless you are perceived as one. Useless being so discreet you get no new business. No point in being a leader if no-one knows it. Worthless being exclusive if only few want to belong.

Of course you can pay for corporate brand advertising and/or sponsorship. That's one good way of getting your company and its products or services known and understood. Not cheap though.

And there's nothing quite as powerful as other people, not you, saying or writing good things about the company.

And one day something will go wrong; you can count on it. There will be a bad story about your company that gets out there. Whether you like it or not. Beyond your control. And a good, clear and growing reputation is the only way to ensure that bad news does not do permanent damage by being the only thing people remember you for.

Resilient corporate repuations are no given. They take consistent corporate behaviour and peformance and accurate as well as sustained 'good press'. And that in turn takes care, devotion and time.

It's a worthwhile thing to do. We enjoy doing just that for our clients.
